Hyderabadi Dalcha in Telugu

Required ingredients:

  • Chopped Bottle gourd
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Mjnt leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Green chillies
  • Soaked tamrind
  • Coriander powder
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Red chillies
  • Cumin seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  •  Urad dal (Minapapu) 
  • Turmeric powder
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Oil
  • Curry leaves

Preparation process:

  1. First we should paste the dal which we cooked already now add tamarind juice to the dal and keep a side
  2. Now lit the stove and place a pan on it and add oi to the pan now add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal to the pan then add green and red chillies then add chopped onions and mix well then add chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste and mix well 
  3. Now add bottle gourd to the pan and let them cook after some time add coriander and mint leaves to the pan and mix well and cover it with a lid for five minutes and let the all ingredients cook well
  4. Now remove the lid and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well then cover it with a lid for some time
  5. Now remove the lid and add the dal and tamirid juice to the pan which we have kept a side and also add some water and mix well now add little coriander powder and coriander leaves and curry leaves and let it boil and now off the stove and that's it tasty dalcha is ready to serve with bagara rice......
